I just took an eye on my xuezhang's finance faculty offer, from price business school, (oklahema). 175,000 for 9 months. He has one JFE paper with his advisor, he is an American, he is hansome and tall and decent.

However, he rejected it.............sigh........ The difference is so big......

If you do not have a JFE, it might be important....

If you are from stanford or MIT, it is not important.

btw, oklahema has a good football team,  Indians.

my school is not that presitgors.

The reason He get those decent offers somekinds  is based on luck, I mean, he has a good advisor.

Also, one of my Xuejie graduating this year only gets offer from a teaching university and her salary is not that satifying, only 90,000 for 9 month, although possibly she will go to Gatech to be a visiting professor.
