Tough choice: In @ Stanford and MIT

I think Stanford is stronger in enterprenurship because of its locatioin. After all, it is in silicon valley. And Stanford people is also nice and smart.

Either one is great, there is no wrong decision between these two. You are super Niu! Just flip a coin.

I dont think this a tough choice. The two schools are distinctly different. MIT is more Quantitative and Stanford is more Qualitative.

If u are a quant guy, go MIT; if u are a libra-art guy, go Stanford.

However, as far as MBA is concerned... qualitative is more useful than quantitative... my 5 cents.

I think the answer is very simple: STANFORD. And I wouldn't hesitate for even one millisecond! Always go to the best b-school you can go to. By the commonly used criteria, Stanford is clearly better than MIT.

For the first two days, I felt like I am over the moon. But then I started considering the decision, I lost the excitment completely, and only thinking that I do not want to loose either one. They are top in different way and I want both.

这个ID真有意思，我也以为是"马甲"呢，而且还是第九个马甲...

我也赞成斯坦福：

1。前3和前10的品牌价值是有明显差异的

2。感觉Sloan在中国的校友网不强，如果打算回国发展，这又是个减分因素

学校的品牌价值和奢侈品牌的价值类似，历史都是其最重要的资本。这点上麻省理工要优于斯坦福。当然，斯坦福是新贵，也不弱。

据我和外籍同事的接触，在欧洲和亚洲的大部风地区，麻省理工的名气要比斯坦福稍强，我认识好几个公司的CTO都是MIT的（不过不是Sloan)。在大陆斯坦福的名气更大一点。
