这是答案的解释(B) exhibits使用错误导致主谓不一致; and includes和has been平行,共同作为The list的谓语.则该句子可化为The list… has been expanded the lower vertebrates和The list… includes the lower vertebrates两个句子,前者明显不通.

可是我认为，如果把expand看成是不及物动词，那么就可以理解了。因为expand是先发生的已经完成的动作，而include是前面expand导致的现在发生的动作，所以就可以理解了啊

还有一个疑问有关preference惯用法的，我差了Longman Dic后发现和preference搭配有以下：1、preference for（a cultural preference for boy babies

）2、preference to do（Many elderly people expressed a strong preference to live in their own homes）；3、preference as to（Parents may be able to express a preference as to the school their child will attend.）

然后我又想到了以前做的GMAT题，像这样的通常都会选to do而不用动名词的

请问，在本题里，对expand的理解是主要考察点还是对preference的用法是主要考察点？

preference for doing和preference to do都可以，但是前面的搭配更加常用。

解释上我觉得确实有问题，expand的作用对象是list，不可能是the lower vertebrates。但是expand一定是及物动词，不及物动词没有被动语态。
逻辑上include应该作为expanded的目的，所以用不定式更为合理。

哈哈，就是，expand肯定是及物动词，不然就没被动语态了，我真是笨啊

恩，我想了想，以后这种题都倾向于and两边的时态不应该不一致，因为我发现GMAT常常倾向于认为有and就意味着要平行对称，貌似大多数情况下and两边的时态都是一致的，前提条件是and连接的两个动作是一个主语发出的
