Increasing recognition of good employees in company and giving gifts to good employees are two good ways to encourage employees. Firstly, increasing recognition of good employees in company will help the good employees receive respect from other employees. These good employees may still work hard or even more for maintain their honors, and other employees may become hard-worker since they also want to receive honors. My uncle is a very sophisticated manager in a big company, and he really understands what is a low level employee demand----respect from his/her supervisor and colleagues, so every month he make a list that include some good-work employees’ names, and encourage other people follow them. Of course, these good-work employees will still work hard for remain their name on the list, and other employees hope that their names appear on the list in next month, so they will try their best to challenge the good-work employees in this month. Secondly, giving some gifts to good employees will help the company to remain these employees, because sometime when a good employee finds that he has been a good quality employee, he/she may try to find out other place which may provide more benefit, but if they receive gifts from company, they will appreciate the company and stay. My landlord works in a stone company, and has about ten years experience and high skills in the job. However, many other companies sent people to talk to him, and tried to convince him to their companies. When his boss hears about that, the boss bought a new van to him for rewarding his good job in last year. My landlord really appreciated the company for this gift, and he still work in this company. Rewarding good employees is necessary in companies, and show some benefits to employees will encourage them keep going. There are million methods to reward employees, and all of them are base on that make employees believing that they are worth to work hard in their jobs. |
