Just to clarify, among the MBA students at Wharton attending without full-time work experience, I am the only one in the MA/MBA joint-degree Lauder programme. In fact fewer Wharton MBA students apply for this because apart from the regular requirements of an MBA programme, it also requires that you have demonstrated interest in foreign cultures and international business. Apart from this added interest, we are in every way regular Wharton students, and go through the regular Wharton admissions process.
Apart from myself, I know of at least 5 others at Wharton who are attending straight after college; and numerous more at Chicago, Harvard, Stanford and Columbia- do your research, and you'll find that it is exactly in fact the top schools that are not worried about their students being unable to find jobs after graduation, and hence are willing to take a chance on college seniors like you and I.
As long as you have a well-reasoned, logical explanation for wanting to pursue an MBA now, you should definitely apply!
