读懂句子就不难排除。

like放在句首，很明显考可比性。就像草地和牧草，这些鸟也消失了。因此主语为sandpipers或bird，排除DE。排除A是因为vanishing只修饰了鸟，没顾及到草地和草。C语法错误，that引导句子使得缺少主句。

不是，A错在主谓不一致，sandpipers应该用复数are, vanishing修饰sandpipers并没有错。所以B是相对最合适的选项。
