请教：我是否该脱产读PHD？我有这个能力吗？

Please give me some advice ! Thank you !

1、Should I need resign to have a PHD's Degree?

2、As my ability , is there  any chance?

Now I will introduce myself to you.

Education : I have the Engineer Bachelor's Degree in a 211 university(about 30th in Chinese university ) , have the Engineer Master's Degree in another 211 university (about 25th in Chinese university) .Now I am study EMBA in National University of Singapore which EMBA ranging the 20th in the world (<Finance Times> EMBA ranging 2008 ,on the job, tuition about RMB350K)

Career: I’m a deputy general manager in a property company which sales RMB 3.5billion in 2007. My salary is about RMB 800K per year. I’m 31years old ,the youngest one in the directorate.

 

Test: My English is poor(you can realize through the word above). But I maybe can get 700 in GMAT,100 in TOEFL, if I do my endeavor.

Please give me some advice. Thank you very much!

你读 PHD的 目的是什么。  想转学术的路吗， 而且 也要有个专业方向， 当当说一个PHD是什么呢。

谢谢！现在的工作有一定的挑战性，但感觉可以看到退休的状况了。想在金融、投资上有点进步，就算做事也大手笔些。而且，现在的工作感觉技术含量不太高哈。哦，对了，忘记介绍了，我第一个工作是证券公司。

读PHD 多是做学术了，  如果想做金融 投资，我想你现在就可以找机会转业，  不过薪水上可能无法跟你现在相比

年轻的时候多走几个行业，再弄个PHD，最后到大学当教授也不错哈！

Thank you for your advice all above!

"Should I need have a PHD's Degree off job?" is my best question. Because my opportunity cost maybe too high. I know the duty now I have is hard for me get repeat even if after I have a PHD's Degree.

If I decide to have a off job study I may get the best school . That is difficult for me now .

Maybe I will elect a on job study for my Doctor's Degree.
