给的答案是E，pollutants是可数，用less of 修饰可以马？

less 后面其实省略了一个不可数名词。 或者，可以把 less本身看成一个名词。 更重要的是，只有E才是正确的比较结构。 烧天然气的交通工具和烧汽油的比较。 其它比较前后项不平衡。 必错。

我觉得是因为这里的比较是certain pollutants释放程度的多少，而不是pollutants种类的多少，所以用less
