Do you agree or disagree with the following statement

The government should require all young adults to perform some kind of national service, such as military service or social service.

 正文：

In many countries, the governments require all the young adults to perform some kind of national service, such as military service or socail service. Some of the other countries don't have these kind of reqirements. In my opinion, taking national service is not only beneficial to a young person’s growth, but also crucial to the social development. So, the governments should encourage young adults to participate in national service and provide enough opporunities to them.

 Family education, school education, and social education plays different role in a young person’s growth. Socical education is very important to a young person who comes into the society initially. However, how to build up a young person’s responsbility for the socity? I think, performing social service is an efficient way. Young people could learn a lot of things when they take social service. they can learn how to help others, how to be proficient at dealing with the relationship among people, and how to communicate with a crowd. All these experiences could be helpful to the young person’s future career and make him/her more mature and experienced.

 Similarly, taking part in the military service is an approach to cultivate young people’s personality. Strict training can strong a young person’s mind and improve their abilitis to conquer difficulities. In China, not everyone has a chance to take military service, but there are still thousands of young people perform the military service every year.

Moreover, national service is crucial to social development. If all the young adults spend their spare time to perform social service, It could form harmonious atmosphere in the society. And guility rate may be decreased. There is an old saying in China: “The young adults is the hope of China.” This is true. I hope every young person perform the national service and try his/her best to help others in the society.
