虽然说 the musican and profession. 指的是一个人又是音乐家又说教授，但是， 总不能说 popularity 和 availability 是一个东西吧。

对不起，一引用就看不到原文了。只记得是修饰错误。忘了具体修饰内容。 a baseball star.... 作为同位语修饰是endurance and consistency 是不对的。

我查了原稿，没有打印错误。
The increased popularity and availability of televisions 后面跟单数has，我估计是因为前面有共同的定语increased。不过还是请专家们查查语法书，看看有没有这个规矩。

另外，我觉得popularity 和 availability在意思上也是接近的。看作一件事情未尝不可啊。

我现在在搞公司，没有时间查了。对不起啦！
