还是同类型的问题，当比较双方是主语时，为什么不补出 do，写成   do those burning of gasoline or disel fuel.

比较对象概念要对等，这里的比较对象是vehicles；

Vehicles和do those burning of gasoline or disel fuel没有可比性。如果后面你用Do开头，比较的就是两个动作。

肯定是Vehicles同那些Vechicles比较，对于在前面已经出现的复数名词，用those代替。

可如果不补do 这里会造成 pollutants 和 those burning of gasoline or disel fuel比较的歧义撒
