chemical 作为形容词怎么能被that起到补充说明呢？突然语法乱了，这也不是定语从句啊。谢谢指教啊

达人，我的意思是题中最后这句the chemical that is irritating it.  中that 后面是补充说明chemical吗？这不是定语从句，可那是什么语法现象呢，谢谢

chemical可以作名词的
