请教GWD31-39，并列句省略问题

此题正确答案选C，可是根据OG11-61，In an effort to reduce their inventories, Italian vintners have cut prices; their wines have been priced to sell, and they do.

根据上面的do，这里可不可选E呢？ did 代替soared.

并且根据白永的并列结构的省略原则， 省略相同的主语，宾语，连系动词， 助动词，情态动词，而要保留实义动词。根据这个原则来说好像应该用did来代替soared才对呢。

do的指代问题，已经困扰我很久了， 恳请有心人能帮我走出这个困境。。。。。。。。。。感谢，并祝战G成功！
