yale适合这些学生的原因在于：

1） legacy，之前有很多耶鲁的校友在non-profit和corperate social responsibility这个领域工作，有很好的reputation。

2)   耶鲁在non-profit及social responsibility方面的选择课比其它的商学院要多。

3)   在耶鲁，想做non-profit不会被认为是异类，而可以找到不少志同道合的人。

但这不代表耶鲁不适当不想做non-profit的人，事实上有一半的学生还是进入finance相关的领域的。

久仰i版大名，可否具体介绍下yale在nonprofit方面的校友以及nonprofit方面的课程名称，因为偶的career goal就是nonprofit而且申请了yale，如果有幸收到interview invitation的话，到时候就不手忙脚乱了，谢谢啊。

Thanks for taking your time to answer our questions.

I am currently debating whether to apply for round3. I understand that my chances of being admitted in round3 will be limited, but I do not want to waste another year. (It is complicated why I decided to suddenly apply for an MBA, but I will be taking GMAT next week and start writing my essays immediately after.)

I do have a diverse background and strong credentials; however, I am not sure if I will be severely penalized for applying in round3.

My questions:

1. If I get rejected in round3, can I apply in round 1-2 of next year? If yes, it will be only a few months since (hopefully not) receiving my rejection letter. Will it be hard to convince the admission office that 6 months after being rejected I am qualified???

2. Should I apply to my dream schools in round3 or will I ruin my chances of getting in next year? I am worried that if I do not apply to my dream school, but I do get admitted to other school(s).

By the way, I do not need a visa therefore technically I should be OK to apply in round3.

第三轮一般是比较难，而且你现在连GMAT都还没考，申请R3恐怕也有点仓促了。

不过一般来说，今年没被录取明年重申不会影响你的成功机率。今年就有一个去年被拒的CDer进了yale。

在这种重大的决定上，我没法给你建议，只能提供上面的这点信息供你参考。it is your call.  Good luck~

Nonprofit方面的课程不少，你可以到学校的网上去查。下面两门课比较多人选：

Strategic Management of Nonprofit Organizations
Endowment Management

至于在nonprofit的校友，实在很多，但我不知道有什么人一说出来可以impress admission officer的。generally speaking，列出一堆知名校友的名字并不能justify your reason to apply for yale.
