我的疑问在于A，lack做谓语，OG说：lack is modified by a wordy and awkward construction, to such a large degree as to make it difficult to.

我理解为学生缺乏数学技能到了如此一个程度，以至于......，so as to的逻辑主语与句子主语学生也搭配的没有问题，唯一的疙瘩在于make it difficult中

的it指代了什么

make的主语不是students，students的谓语是lack.

make的逻辑主语是Students in the metropolitan school district lack math skills to such a large degree

我认为是such....as to这个用法有问题, 只有so....as to。

我说的可能太绝对。但是such... as to好像没见过对的....

我只了解such后面一般都不能放抽象名词.....，但是我似乎很难把握抽象名词和实意名词的区别，这里莫非degree程度是抽象名词？

和这个没关系，这里主要是和as  to搭配成so....as to。

GMAT中表示太....以至于基本都是so.....that/as to

把so改成such都是错的。（我不能100％保证绝对这样，但是可以作为一个判断标准）
