但是我选了C，因为我觉得it明明有指代啊，the Virtual Leonardo Project是主语，按照代词替代规则，他完全可以被it指代。

如果it是指Virtual Leonardo Project, Virtual Leonardo Project不可能activate the animated fucntions of the pieces.
"activate the animated functions of the pieces"是"touch each exhibit"所造成

可是，encourages 不也是这个project做出来的吗？

做题目的时候，觉得encourages正好跟activates平行，意思也相对，所以选他了。

看了评论，很多人都说it没指代，我觉得是有指代的？

it 如果指代project, 放在and 后面显得主语重复。project encourage and it thereby will activate? it需要省略。
