must750, your gmat score is quite decent... why trouble yourself to retake it? I do believe NYU judge the score as a very important criterion, but not the    only point.        


Acutally, I got NYU waitlist with G score below 700, (only 2.5yrs w/e in unfamous Chinese enterprise,    B.A. from    2    tier Chinese university).        I know my chance for NYU is quite slim now unless I    retake    G and score    higher...    


But for your case, I do think the key point now is how to market yourself and show your potential. Good luck.......

Thanks for atongmu, diudiu & Lorena. Your encouragement makes me feel better. Actually I think my background is not too bad. I worked as sales in a No.1 pharmaceutical corp in China & here worked in a big IT company. Just hope the interviewer not be discouraged by my speaking English. Another info I learnt from a Stern friend is that most part-time students are from Wall St. These group are young and are sponsored by company. Very limited positions are left for Chinese people, most of whom are from IT or Biotech industry.
