我找了2个关于动作比较的句子为例子。

我的问题是：

1。如果前后动作的施动者是同一个的话，在than之后往往省略这个施动者？如自己的现在和过去相比较。（一时没有找到例子），我这个看法对不对？

2。但是2个题目中than did的动作是否由后面的名词发出的，难道是用了倒装？
我在题目选项中分别补出了省略的部分，请大家帮我看看是否补对了，但是2个题目than之后的动作是不是由did之后的名词发出的呢？

小月的问题很有深度，事实上我觉得语法区没有笨问题，只有不懂的问题，敢问问题，问清楚的问题，就是在帮助大家成长哩。

这两题我是认同小月的看法地，举第一题为例：
In the United States, trade unions encountered far more intense opposition against their struggle for social legitimacy than the organized labor movements of most other democratic nations.
(B) in their struggle for social legitimacy than did

这句若是没有did 会有两个意思，
In the United States, trade unions encountered far more intense opposition
in their struggle for social legitimacy
than the organized labor movements of most other democratic nations （encountered in their struggle for social legitimacy）.
美国贸易工会受到反对  比  其它民主国家劳工运动受到反对  强烈

In the United States, trade unions encountered far more intense opposition
in their struggle for social legitimacy
than （trade unions encountered intense opposition  
in） the organized labor movements of most other democratic nations.
美国贸易工会在争取社会合理上的受到反对  比  美国贸易工会在其它民主国家劳工运动受到反对  强烈

答案B表达前者。
若要清楚表达后者，只需加一介系词即可：
In the United States, trade unions encountered far more intense opposition  
in their struggle for social legitimacy than
in the organized labor movements of most other democratic nations.

因为会造成句意误解，念起来不爽，所以还是要补上代动词才好。
