1-Q7: A)中419 times more pay than blue-collar workers应为419 times more pay than THAT of blue-collar workers. as compared to = compared to,记住就行。
C)并不完美,其中 as compared to..., a ratio...显得好罗嗦,不过并列结构满足了。
问了几个老美,都觉得A)读起来更顺,但好像GMAT会prefer A). 当然,老美GMAT比不上我们...
GMAT中考的more...than...或as...as...偶尔会比较怪异
。其实, ceo's earn more pay than workers (do) 或ceo's earn more pay than that of workers语法上都对,但加上了an average of后,more严格修饰pay (而不是修饰earn),所以,从并列上来讲,必须用an average of 49 times more pay than that of workers;进一步解释,可以说I have a bigger table than (that of) his, 但按照GMAT语法,不能说I have a bigger table than he does (虽然日常中都会这么说); I have fewer tables than he does是日常的说法,但按GMAT的并列要求,应该说I have fewer tables than those of his,可是并没有人这样说 - 很多有歧义的比较并列结构都可以简化归结于这种情况,而这种情况下应该选哪个其实都是我们都在猜(尽管会有人很肯定地告诉你一个答案),官方答案是什么根本没人知道(模拟题里的答案一般都不会有歧义)。但在95%以上的情况下,GMAT考的并列结构是很明显,所以碰上有歧义的做错了也就算了。

GWD1-Q32: "would"-虚拟语气;用will也行,只不过would更委婉;do代表know
GWD-10-Q37:GWD-11-26: 倒装句。a is amoung b = amoung b is a
T-3-Q2: results in something doing something错了;stinger results in逻辑错了,是stinger的什么什么results in
