129. A university plans to develop a new research center in your country. Some people want a center for business research. Other people want a center for research in agriculture (farming). Which of these two kinds of research centers do you recommend for your country? Use specific reasons in your recommendation. 

 

 

 

   Recently, there has been a widely debate among the residents in my country towards whether allow a business research centre or an agriculture research center in my country. Numerous people tend to hold an idea that farming research center is assorted with our country’s policy, which puts focus on the benefits of farmer. However, many others perceive differently and contend that business research center will benefit the entire society in the long run. Even assorted effusions to the contrary, I am firmly sided with the latter without hesitation, for the advantages of business research center are both palpable and profound to our country.

 

   To begin with, compare to the farming research center, business research center have more potential development. In my country, farming technology is as developed as some western country. Unfortunately, the salary gap still becomes much larger than before. Farmers are not able to receive reasonable profits from farming. In my view, it is attributed to the business problem not the agriculture trouble. So, building a business center can eventually address the salary inequality between country and city.

 

   In addition, a business research center may contribute the overall society's economy. It can not only attract more foreign risky investment but also prospers other field's progress. American government set numerous technological business centers in Los Angel, Washton, etc, in the last half century, which made a great contribution to the local economy. Furthermore, the southeast of China is more developed than northwest. To a great extent, business research center play an indispensable role in prospering indigenous economy.

  Moreover, the business research center makes a treasured impact on solving the unemployment problem, which influenced the common people’s mundane life. With the reform of state owned enterprises, more and more workers employed by those enterprises lost their job. Our economic reform and adjustment is going through a vital stage. If the problem can not be coping with appropriately, it would tear apart the social fabric and threat the stable of the entire society.

    In sum, after take accounting to all the factors, I am fully believe that the advantages of business research are overweight that of a farming research center. So, a business research is more suitable and valuable for our country.
