大全987 -- 73 过去分词伴随状语可以不用逗号隔开?

1.        Alaska regularly deposits some of its profits from the sale of oil into a special fund, with the intention to sustain the state’s economy after the exhaustion of its oil reserves.

(A) fund, with the intention to sustain the state’s economy after the exhaustion of its oil reserves

(B) fund, the intention of which is to sustain the state’s economy after they have exhausted their oil reserves

(C) fund intended to sustain the state’s economy after oil reserves are exhausted

(D) fund intended to sustain the state’s economy after exhausting its oil reserves

(E) fund that they intend to sustain the state’s economy after oil reserves are exhausted

c

疑问,intended应该不是修饰fund,认为修饰Alaska比较合理,那么过去分词作伴随状语,可以不用逗号隔开吗?

谢谢

intended是在修fund.
C:
Alaska regularly deposits some of its profits from the sale of oil into a special fund  intended to sustain the state’s economy after oil reserves are exhausted.
=
Alaska regularly deposits some of its profits from the sale of oil into a special fund that is intended to sustain the state’s economy after oil reserves are exhausted.

雖然沒有這個好:
Intending to sustain its economy after
oil reserves are exhausted, Alaska regularly deposits some of its profits from the sale of oil into
a special fund.
or
With the intent of sustaining its economy after
oil reserves are exhausted, Alaska regularly deposits some of its profits from the sale of oil into
a special fund.

可是別的choices有很大的問題.

-ed短语与它前面的名词是指代关系是紧密的,而且指代关系合理,所以intended只能修饰fund

ps: (D) fund intended to sustain the state’s economy after exhausting its oil reserves   阿拉斯加为什么不能耗尽它的油量储备呢?

句子+after/although/while verb-ing的主語是前面最近的名詞....state's economy
OG中的唯一例外是OG10上的
246. Joachim Raff and Giacomo Meyerbeer are examples of the kind of composer who receives popular acclaim while living, but whose reputation declines after death and never regains its former status.
可是while living是非劃線部份....

以下是引用AlienX在2008-7-26 23:10:00的发言:

不好意思,个人觉得:

句子+after/although/while verb-ing的主語是前面最近的名詞

此句有问题,主语应该是主句主语优先,请指正

hmm...you are right.
我再看了OG10中所有的after/before/although/while verb-ing的句子, 大部份是用主句主語當verb-ing的主語, 有一個exception:
178.    In the last few years, the number of convicted criminals given community service sentences allowing them to remain unconfined while performing specific jobs that benefit the public has risen dramatically.

178. 的主句主語是number, while中的主語是convited criminals

所以我看, after/before/although/while verb-ing的主語是有可能是
- 主句的主語
- 前面最近的名詞

同意楼上的次序,但还是没人回答伴随状语是否可以不用逗号隔开?
