求PREP-2中一题中including一词释疑

The new image of Stone Age people as systematic hunter of large animals, rather than mere scavengers of meat, has emerged from the examination of tools found in Germany, including three wooden sperars that archaeologists believe to be about 400.000 years old.

一开始看到这个，including结构的时候觉得很困惑，因为分词作状语在句尾分两种情况：1.表示前边整个句子所产生的影响 2.动作同时发生,但是including在这里一个都不是，后来看了一下破解版的PREP,发现给出的解释是including是介词，修饰tool.

那么什么时候including算分词什么时候又算介词呢？

这是我一个朋友NN给的解释, 你可以参考:

A: rather than merely scavenging for meat 和前面不對稱；have用單數

B:
            

C: that includes修飾前面的Germany，修飾對象不對，應該改成include；from + doing表狀態不對，應該from+名詞表結果---

D: which includes修飾前面的Germany，修飾對象不對，應該改成include

E: correct，但此答案也有瑕疵，如果補充as就平行了，否則有歧義rather than+名詞原則上可以和前面任何一個名詞對稱

 

注意：

1、             which include和including的區別，沒區別，但which需要通過單複數動詞判斷修飾誰

2、             from + doing再次出現，應該改分詞為名詞

3.rather than的平行問題歧義問題

从句意上看Including修饰前面的一个能够包含Spears的复数名词感觉比较顺，而很难作为句末的分词用法，这与making等词汇不同。个人认为从意思上看比较清楚，应该可以先推测出整个句子的意思，从而断定后面句子和前面的关系，然后根据关系选择恰当的用法。如果直接去找语法作用，恐怕容易考虑不全。

(1)include:not in progressive即不用进行时

(2)including:prep;used to introduce something or someone that is included in the larger group or amount you have just mentioned包括（用于表示某物或某人刚才谈及的整体的一部分）

我发现这两个词分别属于不同的词条，如果发现“逗号+including”那毫无疑问就是介词了
