MM，C和E的重点不同，看原句子，强调的是although 空气是流动的。。

但是E说了形成，明显改变了句子的中心。。

SC不是死的，做SC的法中之法是要找简洁、合适的表达方式

E和C的表达重点明显是不一样的。楼主可以自己细心体会一下。

而原句的意思，明显是C的意思。

表达的意思是不一样的

C是说：尽管形成他们（crests and troughts）的空气在快速的流动；

D是说：尽管他们（crests and troughts）是由快速流动的空气形成的；

我觉得基本可以只从语法角度考虑就解决了，although是连词，前后必须是句子，E里面stationary crest and trough是纯短语，错，crest and trough that remain stationary, 虽然严格来说是一个名词形式，但是至少带了动词了，强调了这个动作

(E)           stationary crests and troughs although they are formed by rapidly moving air, is 这里没有划线的部分是个with可以看出是with引导的独立主格形式;那么with的独立主格结构一定是with+noun/pronoun+不定式,形容词,介词结构........; 这里可以看作是with+noun+形容词型;文章不能说with crests and troughs stationary,必须加一个如keep, remain之类的保持状态的词;但是E 中可以看出破坏了这种结构;

不知道说的清楚不....
