答案是B。句子结构看不大懂，为什么A不对。哪位帮忙解释一下？谢谢拉！

OG的解释是有3个原因：1。后面的主语是firms，所以之前要reference. 但比如说，Finished homework, I went home. 为什么一定要reference呢？
2。survive的subject要说明 3。require 的宾语要说明。姑且就按照OG这么记吧……
关于这道题我还有一个疑问，就是because of ，印象中选项中出现它就是一定错的，因为它只能接名词。那么这里面它管到哪呢？也就是说and连接的是哪两个并列成份呢？

Finished homework, I went home. 中的finished是要改成"finishing" or "after finishing"才可能grammatically correct...因為finish是由主句的主語actively做的, 而不是passively...
