(1)Women are now as likely to use the Internet as men (2)He's as likely to fight us as the Trojans. (3)IT people are twice as likely to wear heavy metal t-shirt as other people 都为主语之间的比较,之所以第二个as后面不加 are 或者 is 是因为be动词后面没有宾语,不构成主谓宾比较,看成是主谓比较,不用重复动词 注意这里不会引起歧义,拿第一个句子说,不会引起use the Internet 和 use the men的歧义 回到本题,如果按我说的省略they are: Traffic safety officials predict that drivers will be as likely to exceed the proposed speed limit as the current one. Drivers will be as likely to exceed the proposed speed limit as the current one. Drivers will be likely to exceed the proposed speed limit 和The current one will be as likely to exceed the proposed speed limit
