[求助]请教关于Essay跟SOP的问题

Statement of Reasons for Graduate Study:
                    

Please provide a statement of Reasons for Graduate Study.  A reason statement is a required item.  The Reasons statement is used to determine the appropriateness UWM's programs to your educational and professional goals and serves as an example of your ability to express yourself in writing.  In the statement:
1) Explain your reasons for pursuing graduate study.
2) Describe specific interests and your background in the field.
3) List any relevant skills or training you have acquired.
4) List relevant academic awards or honors you have received.
5) If your program requires recommendations, list the names of those individuals who will write on your behalf.

第一：我在在线申请时,遇到了上述的版面

这个算是Essay吗??我朋友是说只要是学校有问你的问题,都算是Essay,可是这些东西都是在我的resume跟Statement of Purpose里面了,请问我还需要再重写一份吗

第二：Statement of Purpose跟personal statement所指的东西是不一样的吗??
