关于rolling的问题

网页上写明了有四轮申请，又说是rolling admission，那deadling有意义还有吗？谢谢！

unless it works on "pure" rolling basis. otherwise, suppose to be rolling in each application periods. Don't forget the "yield" too.

no, pure rolling no application periods at all, it's open-ended.

I urge you to do so (meets the second deadline) if you apply the states' while you're in China now.

my understanding:

Rolling means there is a sequence for the adcom to read the application in one round. For example, Deadline is Jan 15. The application submitted in Jan 10 will be reivewed earlier than those who submited in Jan 11.

No Rolling means all the applications are treated equally in one round. The same example above, the people who submited in Jan 10 will have the same chance and time to be reivewed with the Jan 11.
