（糊涂的人求问）HEC vs UBC

虽然都是不显眼的小offer，但是也着实让我难了。

UBC：生活舒适，可以移民，学费生活费40w+

HEC：法国巴黎，学校不错，可是学费生活费60w+，八过可以申请奖学金

个人规划：如果可以移民，会考虑，否则回国发展。

今天下午就要递签UBC，现在还在受HEC的诱惑，请大家指点，太迷惑了。或者我可不可以先去签个UBC（8月底入学），然后再考虑要不要改HEC(1月入学)？请指点！！

Not very familiar with the two schools.

But I will choose HEC over UBC.

UBC is good but is after Toronto, Ivey, possibly also after Macgill, York. I know not few Ivey gradudates could not get decent jobs in Canada and have to come back. you could imagine that for UBC.

HEC is pretty good in europe, especially in marketing and brand management.

well, it acturally matters not whether HEC is renown in china, if you can find a french company or other european company either in europe or in china. HEC will definitely sound great for almost most french companies.

what is your previous w/e? what do you want to do after MBA? you must take this things into consideration when comparing the two schools. in terms of the reputation in china, frankly, i believe UBC is no better than HEC. so, if you think you will still come back to china in future, you should not compare the two barely based on reputation. other elements, like school network, life experience, the relevance for your long-term career goal (if you have any in mind at this moment), well deserve your due attention.

one thing for sure, dont think you can immigrate into an european country after getting a MBA in HEC. i can tell you frankly, most of chinese in either HEC or INSEAD will go back to china upon graduation.

in terms of academic issue, most of MBA programs in the world DO NOT vary significantly. it is the people you know here really matter... HEC generally is good at finance/marketing/entrepreneur. if you have interest in luxury industry, HEC is your No.1 choice. so, any more questions?
