第一篇独立写作，对托福要求还不是很熟悉。请多多指教。


Topic:
Many teachers assign homework to students every day. Do you think that daily homework is necessary for students? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.

In my suggestion, I disagreed with teacher assigning the homeworks to their students day by day. For supporting this, I'll present two major reasons below.

For the one, it kills the time the youth spare with extra activities and thereby narrows the way that they might explore the bigger world. One could not live without any other interests, especially for the kids, like playing football or listening music. Those are all important for building a diverse living environment for them and offering a wide horizon for considering this mankind land. It also will increase the ability to cooperate with other children, which could not be gained if they just dig into the independent daily works.

Second, it has to be giving the time to rethink and meditate those knowledge they've been taught. Proven that the much better way for absorbing the new concepts, introductions etc. is to repeat the things they've known. For example, if one learned a new word in Monday, the more advisable way is to repeat learning this new word in Tuesday and meanwhile to add another new word in his head as advance. The reason is if you just let the new coming up, one is easy to get out the memory of it, which just has been impressed for a while. This could be demonstrated well in the theory of how human beings memorize in related researches in universities.

All in all I think the school education could be more effective with multiple methods, not only just put student on cramming the textbooks. The more important thing is to cultivate the motivations and to keep the curiosity for capturing the knowledge and going forward for it consistently.
