这题要从逻辑意思上来考虑，分号后的部分要涉及，意思上表示过去和现在的对比，所以要用过去时态。然后主系表结构最简洁。

immune from/to都在dictionary上: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/immune
這裡應該用immune to.
appear as something是有的,  好像沒有appear as verb-ing這樣的用法吧?
