我现在开始准备申请加拿大的学校了，Mcgill是我的目标之一，作为已申请成功者，我想了解Mcgill最看重的是是么？你准备essay用了多久，是校友面试吗？

I was not asked for interview. And as you know, both essay questions are very general, so I just wrote my work experience and future plans, I guess you'd better show them that you have the ability to land on a great job after graduation.

I think you should land in Montreal, so that you can be treated as a quebec resident and pay much less tuition fee to McGill.
