看了og的ets解释和大全93的解释，我想问为什么是用完成时。我理解的so A that  B 的句型的意思是“太 A， 以至于B"，那么A这个状态应该在B事件以前，或者说因为A状态所以有B结果。A项的完成时表达的意思是schistosomiasis become a economic drain，使得 it is so debilitating，那么这是一个前果后因的表达了？如果是这样的话，so....that.....句型的意思怎么理解呢？

我选的C。so... as to... 参考大全91：

       Although one link in the chain was demonstrated to be weak, but not sufficiently so to require the recall of the automobile. 

(A) demonstrated to be weak, but not sufficiently so to require

(B) demonstrated as weak, but it was not sufficiently so that it required

(C) demonstrably weak, but not sufficiently so to require

(D) demonstrably weak, it was not so weak as to require（D）

              (E) demonstrably weak, it was not weak enough that it required

答案选D

这句里，因为not so weak，所以不用require recall，吧as to换成that it也是讲得通的，也就是说不是that后面的东西来决定so的状态。
