相比之下，其它有的专业也很好赚钱，虽然不一定像JD一样那么有钱，但也可以满足了，比如法学120K，其它有的专业有80K，而且才一年，读书也没那么辛苦。如果为了钱，我想不会有人去选择JD的。

而像为了自己的理想而读JD，可以成为一个理由，只是我觉得没有这么多人为了这个理由。

我所认为要读JD的原因，比如像进入美国政界，虽然说好像有点卖国的样子，但很实际，也很成立。我要问的就是有没有其它什么现实的理由了。

And I know none asians are in the USA political circle, neither asians born in the USA...

i'm just saying a possibility, not always true. but those things are what people think it's glamorous, i think. let's be practical, i really don't think there will be so many students trying to enter law school just because they like law.

One hint to yelloweriol5: it's a possiblity to create the first. consider the american president election, obama could be the first black president, clinton could be the first woman president, or mccain to be the eldest president. although i'm not saying people study law just for a political life, it's always possible to create a miracle.

The point is you must love the law, to chinese law students  JD can polish your law skills .

12K是很低的数字吧。好学校的学生很多能拿16K以上的。

的确如此,法学院的中国留学生比起其他专业和学院要少得多.基本上在数量上不具有可比性.
