First, let your wife decides where she will go.

Just my 2cents.
There is no difference between Cornell & Darden.  Your wife will
feel stressful because of Darden's courses or Cornell's long
winter & loneliness.  However, "因为离darden比较近，开车2个小时即到". You can always be there when she need you.  You can visit her every weekend and cook for her.  So both of you will be more relax if she went to Darden.
