The people you interview with is probably a second year student. They may also surf the internet and know CD. So do not kick anybody's butt and keep youself cool. Like me, I will be next year's admission counselor as well. And you guys will have this chance sooner or later.
You will have a chane to apply for it at the end of the third term in your first year. The competition is furious but everyone knows it a value-added experience. You will get more tips before the selection.

Can you tell me how many students from China and Taiwan in your class this year and how where they are in terms of searching for internship. I know the market in the US is bad right now and it doesn't help when we are international students
You are right. There are around 15 Chinese this year, including people from Taiwan. The internship searching is still going on and one third of us so far received offer. Two got a banking job. I'd like to say that in the down market, ability plus luck is still the key to find a job.
I agree completely! In today's market condition, we all need A LOT of luck when it comes to looking for a job. I am kind of surprised to see so many Chinese students from your class. From a class of around 120 people, we have more than 10% of the students being Chinese, that's great!
