I think your profile is very strong. You should try Top 10.

AWA 4.5 is enough, no need to retake.

However, this year the competition will be furious for guys from banking, because many layoffs will apply for b-school this fall. Hard to predict the outcome.

agree, the impact the subprime has had on the financial sector is so enormous... especially in US and Eur... CB is ok while IB is wobbling, trading & sales dep suffers a lot....Anyway, tks for the info, wish everybody good luck..

Strong backgroud and the odds that u r to be admitted by a top-15 is large. Many pre-MBAer are considering switching to finance industry, however, since you are already in a leading bank, you may have to think thoroughly about what's your post-MAB goal I guess

scores are very high

WE is still kind of weak

the questions are not in any of these assets

but why?

where are you going?

why you have so many different certificates?

why you need CFA and CPA at the same time

and why do you have other 2 also?

then why do you need mba?

why at this point of life?

if you don't have enough experience

what's the motivation and what part of mba do you need?

and why?

it's not about top 20 or top whatever

it's about why you need it

1.all 3 levels passed but designation is to be granted. I know short W/E is a concern, so I don't expect too much.

Simply put, management trainees are trained for further management of a company, however, the program varies from company to company.

2.CFA/CPA focus on different fields, supplementing each other. As for the motivation of mba in US, I think the front edge of financial industry is there

Enough background... but I would still recommend you to think clearly about why MBA.

Here is what I have:  GMAT 720; TOFEL 102. But I was admitted by Yale and waitlist by Wharton this year.

Scores and certificates are requirements but not determinants. I still believe that think deeply of why MBA and what's your career goal and present these points logically in your essay with sincerity are the keep points.
