以下是引用日本王八在2004-10-13 22:48:00的发言:just consider this fact that not all applicants for ceibs are required to take gmat, you guys think this is fair? i am thinking denying the offer. i prefer qinghua, but unluckily it dosen't recognize gmat score It seems that your biggest strength that can be demonstrated is your GMAT score instead of your practiced capacity. Don't forget that most of managers or prospective managers wouldn't like to spend too much time on Exam or even on interview preparation. To some extent, exam makes nonsense. In contrast, most of students majoring in english can get a high GMAT score. Lots of folk entrepreneurs seldom speak any english, but they are the talents in fact. If you wanna learn some practiced business skills rather than just read english teaching-books in CEIBS. Maybe should learn more from these your "grass-roots competitors". The guys with good english can illustrate their good oral englsih communication skills. Yes , if you wanna work for MNC, this capacity is valuable. In addition be careful that even you get a decent GMAT score, which doesn't mean your communication skill is enough because the skill relates to your presonality as well. I think CEIBS is supposed to educate professional manager as well as some future Entrepreneurs. In other words, if the score of GMAT is the one and only criteria of Admission of CEIBS, that CEIBS is not such a CEIBS. Just my private opinion. |
