Congradulations and welcome to Chicago GSB.
From my experience in Chicago GSB, I never regretted choosing it and if I could have another chance to choose, I would defenitely choose Chicago again. Before you coming here, you can never imagin how good this school is. The modern building, the super supportive faculty, especially the career service, the beautiful city, the helpful almni, let along its reputation and strong academic education.
Money is not a problem. You can get loan without a co-signer very easily. You will realize the scholarship won't make a difference after you find your dream job, which is not unrealistic and has been proved years after years here.
As to the weather, it could be a good thing. Many students here went skiing every weekend. To be honest, during the coldest days of first year, you will be busy with recruiting and the cold weather can just calm you down and focus on your interview preparation.
I can't say you wouldn't regret if you missed other schools, but I can assure you won't regret if you choose GSB.
