    我的理解structure的错误是分词+when 引导的时间状从有误；logic的错误是分词表示多次重复性行为，而devoice不是多次重复性行为。不知理解是否正确？

 3. 有帖子说occurring when a child 是省略，还原后是occurring when (divorce is) a child，这是logic错误；而白勇书上说状从的省略是连接词when+adj短语/ing分词短语/ed分词短语短语（逻辑主语为句子主语），连接词+介短/名词短语 是错误形式，既然是错误形式，又怎么能还原成occurring when (divorce is) a child？？白勇说的是否正确？？

看了看以前的帖子，还是有几个问题没弄明白，麻烦大家帮看一下：

1. thus illogically making divorce the grammatical referent of when a child 这句话应该怎么理解？

因为when a child是时间状语从句，所以这个从句的主语应该和前面的一样。
前面的是什么occurring呢？是divorce,所以这个状语从句的主语也变成了divorce，也就是when divorce was a child。
                

再举个例子，比较以下两句话的差异。
I was dancing when reading.
I was dancing when she was reading.
由此可以说明，当时间状语从句的主语和主句的主语不同时，一定要明确的标明。

是省略，但因为前后时态不一致，在这里是不可以省略的。

When可以只接名词,前提是必须和主句一致

When still a boy of six, Bob was sent away from home. (章振邦 p1155). 所以白勇这一点过于绝对了

还有点疑惑，when状从省略是在从句的主谓语与主句一致时才可以省略，可这里谓语没有be,为什么还原成divorce was a child

完全糊涂了

when修饰occurring, occurring修饰divorce,省略的，按照OG来说，只能是divorce了。
