As I understand it, the financial statement does not affect the admission decision. You have to fill it out when you submit your application, but I don't think you need to show that you have 100% of the funds. Don't write all "0" either, show that you have at least some money ready.

Also, I used photocopied bank statements when I submitted my application. But when we request I-20 forms from our schools, that's when we need to provide original documents.
