IS选校，UTD vs UFL vs GWU

目前手上三个offer

UFL, PhD in Information Systems and Operations Management

UT Dallas, PhD in Management Science

GWU, PhD in Information Systems and Technology Management

UFL综合排名稍高，4.15答复

UTDallas的MIS很牛，有几个印度教授是top杂志的editor，综合排名不好，但发展潜力大，本来withdraw了，结果教授给我回信要我reconsider，列举了一大堆去utd的好处，把答复时间推迟到3.24

GWU的location较好，但是发现在CD上的声誉不良。。。汗

诚心希望牛人们给一点建议，谢谢大家！

UFL很好啊。虽然我不清楚IS，但是他们marketing的CB很好,地方也好。

But it is really hard to say, you may find more opportunities in DC (industry related jobs), then you may withdraw the doctoral program and go to the industry. (It is easy to change the mind)

I agree with u. People change everyday.

It is said the ISTM department of GWU has not enroll phd student for several years. So I cannot find the placement on the website.

UTD surely is very strong in IS. Prof Sarkar told me IS graduates have been placed in schools like the University of Washington, Georgia Institute of Technology, University of Alberta, Tulane University, the University of British Columbia, and the University of Wisconsin at Madison.

UF has small faculty, but the reputation of biz school of UF is better than the other two...anyone can provide more details about UF? Thanks a lot
