拿到UIUC的OFFER

我也拿到Offer了，正犹豫中。

I got an offer from UIUC's PhD in Finance program. Acutually, I visited their campus last week.


Who says its finance program is not good? Its publication in financial journals    ranks 16th in the country. It has many top professors too such as Neil, Pearson.


The only bad thing about the school is that it doesn't have a nice business school building and its location is too boring....I know that most of the MSF program students are from Taiwai or Mainland of China. If you want to find a job after graduation, it's very possible that you would find it in Shanghai or Hongkong....

致命缺陷:没有在米国的学位: 总被留美多年的xdjm踩在脚下: 死的很难看!


结论:申请finance Phd 没有在米学习背景: 希望几乎为0

我在上海，是大四的学生，G过700，T630 ，本科学的是FINANCE，当初报UIUC的时候只是抱着试试看的心情，去年的那个PROGRAM100%招的是有工作经验的人，没想到这次很顺利。

那么贵的学费，给一两千的奖学金，那ad和offer还有区别么？

说句实话，去UIUC读MSF还不如去旁边芝加哥的IIT去读，IIT的MSF肯定比UIUC的好。
