Anyone knows about reapplicant rate for Columbia?  This year did not get in.  Will try next year.

I heard the reapplicants have a pretty good chance to get int - granted that you make an effort to change your background - job, personal development, and GMAT scores.

Don't give up. You will get in!

At least you went through the interviews. I am still waiting for an interview invitation. Fingers crossed.

Just wondering, you are not considering any other school at all?  During my Chicago interview, my interviewer asked for my backup plan if i failed to make it in, and my answer was to give it another shot next year assuming my profile will be more competitive than it is rite now.  Then she goes :"that probably means that it is not the best time for you to pursue an MBA at this point."  I figured that it is somewhat true to a certain degree. At least I am willing to wait for one more year.

Cat, you are totally awesome! You totally put me in shame. I respect your determination a lot as well. I feel like a whining baby when I look at how determined and tenacious you are at your age.

Hi, Hellokitty22, how is your Wharton interview?  Actually I admire you guys, at your age, you know what to do.  I have been traveling, "wasting" my life having fun.   I have to get in Columbia.  Do not ask me why.  I have been doing things just do whatever. that is all.

Cheer up!  I don't know about CBS' reapp admission rate, but most people say it is a reapp happy school. 

Me personally, submitted on Jan. 3, interviewed on Feb. 28, and wait-listed on Mar. 7.  Will probably see CBS in the ED round too in the fall.

On the positive side---not trying to be sour grape though, it may take 2-3 years for the economy to turn around anyway.  JP Morgan just came out today saying U.S. is "slouching into a recession".  So, who knows how the next three years will unfold?

Do you have more information on those reapplicants to share with us?  If they will go through the same pool with firsttimer, or separate pool?  What major things need to impress the committee?
