LZ申请的时候还没想清楚吗？

11年怎么都是过，就看你喜不喜欢自己选择的那种过的方式

如果你喜欢做research，又有什么不好

如果不喜欢，有何必强求自己，况且LZ还是个MM

另外，如果LZ决定来美国了，不论你读PHD，还是master，如果你选择继续呆在这里，那怎样都是要远离亲人，所以这个好像没差吧

in columbia univ,, one chinese guy got a titled professorship though he was just a fresh finance phd 5 yrs ago.

phd life is miserable and not paying off in term of pure money

but there are always very smart and dedicated ppl

so dont be mad, your absence would not be a great loss
