看了版主修改的文章，很有感触。请帮我修改一下，看能得多少分啊。万分感谢啊！没有记时间，因为思路打不开，总是写不到300字。这个月就要考了，没有上辅导班，才开始复习呢。着急啊！！

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?

There are times when lying is acceptable.

Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion.

When we were children, mother always told us,”Don’t tell lies!”or”Be an honest man!” I can imagine that most of us grow up with this motto. However we can find surprisedly that many adults tell lies now and then after we mature. Considering my experience, I strongly agree with the statement that there are times when lying is acceptable.

The threshold reason why I agree with this statement is that it is necessary for us to tell white lies under some conditions. As many people know, in the famous Hollywood film named “True Lies”, the hero told lies to his wife for her safty and happiness. Finally, his wife forgave him when she knew the truth. So white lies will be acceptable for some people. Another proper example is that, several people who have incurable conditions, such as cancer, usually do not know his illness at his time left in some countries. Because there are so many cases which demenstrated that the patients who know his fatal disease will die very fast. So the doctor and his relatives want to let him enjoy his time left without pain.

To such a paramount reason, another must be added, you should tell lies, if it can save your life or avoid boring troubles. And I can show you a good case in point.One dark night, a criminal broke into my house and robbed my bank card, then he forced me to tell him the password of the bank card with the dagger on my neck. I remember I gave him a series of wrong numbers. Several days later, I am so fortunate that I retrieve all of my money from the bank. From an objective perspective, lying is necessary in some certain circumstances.

All in all, we should try our best to be an honest man, however, we can tell lies if necessary.
