I think you have a good profile, especially your 7-year management experience (spent most of your working life as a manager, which is very impressive). Also what do you mean 1.5 year US WE? Is your 7-year management experiences not from US? I have personally known people who have very little or no management experience admitted by Wharton, Columbia, NYU EMBA programs. You do not have to be an executive to go to EMBA. GMAT of 730 is a very good score for any b-school.

I am a kind of lucky girl. 7 yr WE in China, including 5.5 yr Management level; 1.5 yr WE in US, controller level. But I am not good at English, so I am afraid that interview will be a tough thing for me. Also since my company is in Houston, it's possible to get company sponsor if I go to UT or Rice, but no penny for other schools. Red-nec......

Sure goforgmat. If you have any questions please let me know. I think you have a good profile. As for your English, I think you can stress your international background which should make it up. The Columbia program is very diversified and admits a lot of students with international background. Also as a female, you have a natural advantage because most schools want to admit as many as female students as possible. In fact, they advertise their percentage of female students on their web sites.
