之前考GMAT没好好准备作文，得了4分的低分，,所以这次考T有点不放心，不知道怎么写好点，花了一下午写了一篇，望路过的帮忙看看，谢谢啦

Choosing a job: high-paying with long working hours or low-paying with short working hours?

As the cost of education is increasing greatly, parents have to pay much more than ever before to raise a child and let him/her achieve a bachelors or higher degree. In such case, contrary to the opinion of many people is my heartfelt objection to the idea that people should choose low-paying job with short working hours in order to spend more time with family and friends. I strongly prefer a high-paying job with long working hours to repay my parents for my education.

 

First of all, one of the central reasons that can be presented to develop my opinion is that finance security is important to me since I’m young. As a fresh graduate, I need certain amount of money to support myself such as renting a house, buying furniture and paying for other costs. A high-paying job would, to some degree, not only cover my expenses but also save me some money for future. In that case, I will become economic independence and won’t rely on my parents.

 

In addition, another equally crucial aspect is that I can get used to working long time. Since I am still single and my parents are still healthy enough to take care of themselves, I don’t need to spend a lot of time caring my family. At the same time, I am energetic to work long time. As a result, I can afford a large amount of time for my job. On the other hand, only through hard working which always means long time working do I get access to success in career. 

 

Finally, just as stated in the beginning, high-paying is a return to my parents’ investment of my education. So considerably have they offered all they have to raise me up that they hope eagerly that I will succeed one day. To their consideration, high salary is a sign of success. As for me, I can use the money to buy various things to make them happy and satisfied.

 

To sum up, though the advantages that having more spare time with my family and friends leads to are considerable, they can’t compete with the benefits that high salary brings about when financial situation and my real condition are taken into consideration. A high-paying job even with long time working becomes more favorable to me.
