真心求助大家,关于面试问题

刚电话面了Ross,感觉很差,郁闷。

虽然翻过去的帖子,大家都说Ross很友好,基本都问常规问题,可是我今天遇到的问题,我回答的都很不好。

主要是两个:

1) what will you do if a colleague in your team is not performing?

i know it is about how to motivate others, but how to motivate a person who is not willing to contribute?

2) what will you do if others in your team don't agree with you?

我说,我会分析为什么他们不同意我,如果他们的意见有道理更有效,那么就遵从他们的意见;如果我认为我的意见更有道理就遵循我的意见。结果interviewer说,如果他们就不同意怎么办?我说那可以短期试行,看看哪个更有效。

理屈词穷了我。

大家说说,这两个问题应该怎么回答。

很郁闷,面试如此之差,郁闷,估计没戏了。。。

Hi, actually I think it's a good sign if the interviewer challenged you. In my personal view, it shows the interviewer is really interested in you and want to know you better. And since there's no universal answer to those behavioral questions, you don't need to worry whether your answers are correct or not. Different people may have different approaches. Adcom officers surely know that. So relax and enjoy your post interview time!
