问一个问题, EMBA基本都是每两周上二天课,相当于周上一天, 但它还说60 个credits. 与Full time 一样, 有点想不通。 请看下面比较:

This may answer welldone2007's question:

See: http://www.wharton.upenn.edu/mbaexecutive/academics/faq/faq.cfm#Q3
Wharton MBA for Executives students generally carry three course units
per semester, as opposed to the five course units per semester taken by
traditional MBAs. This pace allows students to complete the same
requirements while working full time. Executive students must attend
classes for six terms (over two years) in order to complete all the
required courses while carrying a reduced load each semester.

In other words, EMBA has 6 terms while MBA only has 4 terms (semesters), because EMBA has classes throughout the summers (in the last semester, MBA may have less classes).

I still have question: while EMBA studies 1.5 times term  more than MBA does, it only gather 1 day per week (averagely) and MBA has 4 days per week.

I think it is the intensity of the program: while EMBA studies almost non-stop 8-6 for a whole day per week, regular MBA only takes ~2-3 classes per day. So if you add all the class hours together, I think it will be very similar.

Anyway, I was told by some MBAers that MBA program is really about networking. Most courses are close to useless except for several core courses. So it may not be that important.

I think so. It's easy to develop network in a solid class.

Thank you for your bringing this topic up. I am changing my mind to apply one or two.

welldone, I suggest you to apply to the part time program at Stern based on your experience.

If you work in Biotech/healthcare, Yale also has an EMBA program.  Also check Mit-sloan fellow program.
