有人了解minnesota twin city么？

我刚刚拿了那里的offer。
我听说那个地方一年下5个月的雪……而且还能去加拿大边境听狼叫……
那岂不是冷得要穿成杨子荣那样才敢出门？

那里中国人多么……我特怕去了左边无依无靠，右边什么也够不着。。

true, it is darn cold in the winter and spring, about 6 month snow.  but cool in the summer.  good univ though

I have lived in Minneapolis for four years. There is usually only one or two months when temerature drops below zero F. Most time it is similar to the temperature in Beijing and Tianjin. The summer is around 80-95, not too hot, but definately not cool. The area is very flat so that heat and coldness come fast and leave fast too.

Twin Cities is a very safe metropolitan area and has a relatively low living cost standard. The tax is also very low. No city tax. No clothing tax. U of M is very friendly to foreign students.

公司的总部在那，所以去年在那培训了两个月，非常好的城市，虽然有点冷，还会下暴风雪（我在的时候正好又是冬天），但人都非常nice，我很喜欢的地方
